Richard is the Executive Director of Finance for Newcastle University. During his career, he has held senior finance and managerial positions in the private sector, in Newcastle, London and the USA. He has spent 10 years at British Telecom, where he led the financial aspects of the company's expansion outside the UK, particularly in Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America. Richard is the Chair of the HEPA board.
