Museums & Galleries Relief

The museums and galleries tax relief gained royal assent in November, meaning that the relief is now live and claims can start to be made to HMRC. Although the legislation for the relief was delayed earlier this year due to the general election, the relief will apply retrospectively to eligible expenditure from 1 April 2017. The Arts Council England website has some useful information about the relief.
