ICT Accessibility Tools and Guidance

19 September 2018      Emma Keenan, Procurement Specialist

The SUPC have released a helpful toolkit  for the sector which provides persons with information and guidance to enable acessibility to be included in procurement exercises for digital products and services.

An accessible/inclusive product or service is one that can be used by all its intended users. Products that are designed inclusively will be readily adaptable to the different requirements of a wide range of users and the technologies they will be using.

Digital products and services include but are not limited to:

  • Systems
  • Websites
  • Applications
  • Digital Resources (e.g. eBooks, eJournals, databases)

You can access the toolkit here.  If you have any questions please contact Tammie Purdue at the SUPC or Ash Shelbrook at the University of Kent
