Calculating the Cost of Net Zero users surgery
To help those using the Cost of Net Zero Calculator, delivery partners Energise we will be hosting another surgery to offer technical support to users on 6 June 2024, 11am-12pm. To ensure sufficient time to address individual queries numbers will be limited for each surgery, with a waiting list in operation. Book your place now.
These sessions are useful for those who have recently downloaded the calculator for the first time, or are actively using it within their organisation and have questions on specific figures or fields, or technical queries that have not been covered in the regularly updated FAQs.
The calculator is designed as a starting point that provides early-stage cost estimations for a proposed transition to Net Zero based on the targets selected, and as a yardstick tool to assist financial planning.
It is intended to provide holistic pathway modelling to forecast what the additional marginal costs on a decarbonisation journey might look like under different scenarios for short-term and long-term Scope 1 and 2 decarbonisation costs and emission reductions, using industry accepted sources such 6th Carbon Budget and National Grid’s Future Energy Scenarios.
Please note this session will not be recorded so that attendees can freely share information. We will be gathering feedback at this session so we, along with AUDE and the EAUC, can ensure we support the sector with Net Zeo aims in the most appropriate way going forward.
