Our job of the week is for a Financial Accountant at the University of Suffolk. The successful candidate will be an “experienced and self-motivated fully professionally qualified accountant to provide management support in all aspects of financial accounting. The post holder will be located at the Ipswich Campus and will be responsible for the day to day line management of 3 staff in the Finance Team”
The role will involve “management of the University's accounts receivable function including credit control, student bursary administration, administration of the finance system, and assistance with the preparation of annual financial statements and other statutory and regulatory returns. The role includes a student facing element and so customer service level provided by the team is of high importance”.
