The possibility that international students will be removed from migration figures looks much more likely since the election, according to Research Fortnight. An ‘influential’ MP has put pressure on the Prime Minister to reconsider her stance, and believes that the government will be defeated on the issue should she not relent.

An annual survey of graduate confidence finds that final-year students are far less positive about their future careers and the possibility of finding good jobs because of Brexit, the FT reports.

A report on drop-out rates from the UPP and the Social Market Foundation has a lot of interesting findings, including challenging results for London’s universities, and on ethnic minorities. The BBC also covers the report here.
