New date of our Fraud response course - Bristol

25 August 2017      Matt Sisson, Projects and Membership Manager

We’re pleased to be able to offer our fifth ‘Fraud First-Responder’ course – in Bristol on Friday 10th November – just a few minutes’ walk from the train station. These events are for managers of services in HEIs who might be responsible for responding, or being part of the team that responds, to any suspicion of fraud. You don’t have to be a counter-fraud investigator – just that your role might put you in a situation where you will have to choose how to respond when suspicions are raised or a fraud is discovered, and where you want to make the right decisions in accordance with the law and your institution’s plans and policies.

The course provides a comprehensive understanding of the range and risks of fraud in HE, as well as a chance to assess and develop your own institution’s Fraud Response plans against a number of actual case-studies. If you in any way feel that your HEI’s counter-fraud preparedness and response could be improved (if you don’t know, then it probably does!) then this is tailor made to help you. Alternatively, if you know of a colleague at your HEI who would benefit, then please do bring this to their attention.

This is a high-quality, one-day course, and costs just £160 per delegate. Click the link for more information and to book. If you have any questions at all about the training, then don’t hesitate to get in touch.
