Useful blogs, interviews, and more at the Efficiency Exchange

16 May 2017      Matt Sisson, Projects and Membership Manager

The Efficiency Exchange publishes a range of blogs, interviews, case studies, reports, tools, and other resources to help university professionals share and discover good practice in all areas of university life. Over the past few months it has broadened its focus to look at ways institutions show not just efficiency but value for money and innovation in how they operate.

Recent blogs include everything from how cyber security is a key investment for HE (which was proved by the recent ransomware attacks on health service infrastructure) to maximising the sharing of research equipment. Audio interviews are a different way of getting messages across, and these include Professor Sir Ian Diamond, reflecting on how well his last report was adopted, Tara Dean, pro VC research and enterprise at the University of Brighton, and Lee Sanders, the new chair of AHUA. Look out for interviews with Paul Greatrix of the University of Nottingham and Margaret House, VC of Trinity University, Leeds, coming soon.

The Exchange is always keen to hear from you to help spread the word about how your institution demonstrates value for money, and tackles interesting challenges. If you don’t have time to visit regularly, you can join over 1,000 other subscribers and sign up to the monthly email of the best posts, or follow updates on Twitter @EfficiencyEx.
