Compliance with NMW rules – briefing for HEIs

BUFDG has written a briefing for UCEA on HEIs & compliance with NMW. The briefing paper was prepared by BUFDG at the request of UCEA, in order to alert employers in the HE sector to the potential risks of inadvertently breaching NMW regulations. It is not meant to cover every scenario but rather to alert readers to some of the more common areas giving rise to potential risks of breaching NMW rules within the HE sector.
It should be noted that a consultation into NMW has recently concluded and this may lead to some changes in the future.
