21 December 2020      Rachel Ward, Learning and Development Manager

This online, facilitated workshop, spread over two 3-hour modules, is for you if you want to develop your influence.  You will gain insights into your own, and others’ communications preferences; know how and when to adjust your influencing style situationally and be able to present compelling cases to non-Finance audiences to develop your credibility and impact.   • Identifed your stakeholder map and know who to influence and when;
  • Understood your communication style preferences, those of stakeholders, and know how to adapt;
  • Considered the difference between ‘intention’ and ‘impact’ and planned how to close the gap;
  • Created a compelling articulation of how your role/project adds value to stakeholders;
  • Identified the dynamics that block effective communication and have tools to ‘unblock’ critical conversations through observation of ‘forum theatre’;
  • Techniques for using powerful questions that build rapport, insight, put ownership in the right place and turn conflict into dialogue;
