A reminder that the fixed deadline for responses to this years’ EMM, as well as the new mandatory HEFCE Efficiency Return is the 31st January.
The Efficiency Measurement Model (EMM) Survey asks for data from the range of efficiencies recorded by your procurement team throughout the year. It then provides a useful PDF report which can be used to inform those in your institution of the benefits good procurement can bring. Like last year, HEPA will be producing a sector report from the anonymised EMM data, this will be available to you during February. The HEFCE Efficiency Return asks Universities to report ALL efficiencies achieved throughout an insitution. To confirm - if you complete the EMM you do not need to include procurement efficiencies in your HEFCE Return, as HEPA will provide HEFCE with this data on your behalf.
