HMRC have issued guidance on paying no Customs Duty and VAT on importing museum and gallery exhibits.
The relief may be claimable by museums and galleries on importing museum and gallery exhibits that are of a scientific, educational or cultural nature. Various conditions must be met in order for the relief to apply.
