16 June 2022 Ashley Shelbrooke, HEPA and Project Specialist
Hot on the heels of the publication of the Procurement Bill last month, Prof. Sue Arrowsmith and David Hansom are running what promise to be two fascinating webinars next week.
On 21 June at 11:00 Sue will explore how the Procurement Bill compares with the plans previously announced by the Government. Are there any major problems with the Bill? Can we expect any further changes before the legislation is enacted? And what are the expected timescales for its enactment and implementation? Registration for the webinar in conjunction with Achilles is free, and places can be booked here.
On 22 June, again at 11:00, David will provide his insight and advice, alongside real-life examples of case law, on expected changes to procurement law following the publication of the new Procurement Bill. The interactive session will help procurement professionals across the HE and wider public sectors start to prepare now for changes expected in 2023, including transparency obligations and open and closed framework terms. Places are free of charge and can be booked through UKUPC here.
