(e-Learning) Points mean Prizes!

27 May 2022      Amanda Darley, Head of Operations and Engagement

We’re running our e-learning competition again!

If you’ve been too bogged down in the day-to-day, business as usual tasks to book onto any training courses or attend any events this year, why not take this opportunity to undertake some learning at your own pace, whenever you want to?

All BUFDG member universities have access to our free e-learning modules, and almost all member universities (86%) have access to our subscription service BUFDG Pro modules. Any employee of a member university can access the modules, and if they do not already have a BUFDG or HEPA web account, they can easily do the quick registration for an e-learning account. If you need any further information about the modules or BUFDG Pro, please contact Amanda or Rachel.

To motivate you even more (as if the pure pursuit of knowledge is not enough!) we’re running a competition throughout June and July to see who can complete the most e-learning courses – the winners will be those with the most courses completed from 1 June to 31 July, as well as prizes for the most courses completed overall (since we launched our e-learning), so don’t worry if you’ve already done a lot of them, you can have a look at some of the newer ones and add to your overall tally.

We will be updating a leader-board every week to show who’s in the lead and what the target is for you to beat!

Will there be prizes? You betcha! Whoever completes the most modules in June/July and overall (whether from our free e-learning modules or from BUFDG Pro) will receive a £50 John Lewis voucher, and there will be second and third prizes of a £30 voucher and a £20 voucher.

(And remember – ANY employee of a member university can access the modules by signing up for an e-learning account – so please share this email with any contacts across your university who could benefit from the e-learning modules).

Good luck all… Ready - Set - Learn!
