E-learning competition - you could still win a prize!

12 July 2022      Amanda Darley, Head of Operations and Engagement

There is still time to up your learning game, increase your skills and win a prize! Our e-learning competition runs until the end of July, and you could win a £50 John Lewis voucher, just by undertaking our courses. And as you will be increasing your skills anyway, you'll be a winner either way.

All BUFDG member universities have access to our free e-learning modules, and almost all member universities (86%) have access to our subscription service BUFDG Pro modules. Any employee of a member university can access the modules, and if they do not already have a BUFDG or HEPA web account, they can easily do the quick registration for an e-learning account. If you need any further information about the modules or BUFDG Pro, please contact Amanda or Rachel.

Our competition runs to 31 July to see who can complete the most e-learning courses – the winners will be those with the most courses completed from 1 June to 31 July, as well as prizes for the most courses completed overall (since we launched our e-learning), so don’t worry if you’ve already done a lot of them, you can have a look at some of the newer ones and add to your overall tally.

Our current leaders are:

  • June/July 2022: Rob Langmaid (University of Exeter) - 25 courses, Abigail Naci (Cardiff Metropolitan University) - 20 courses, James Burns (University of Lincoln) - 17 courses
  • Overall: Mandy Crumley (University College London) - 39 courses, Tracey Hill (University of Exeter) -37 courses, Ellen McGhee (University of Nottingham) - 34 courses

So what could you win? Whoever completes the most modules in June/July and overall (whether from our free e-learning modules or from BUFDG Pro) will receive a £50 John Lewis voucher, and there will be second and third prizes of a £30 voucher and a £20 voucher.

(And remember – ANY employee of a member university can access the modules by signing up for an e-learning account – so please share this email with any contacts across your university who could benefit from the e-learning modules).
