Our job of the week is for a Procurement Manager at De Monfort University, Leicester.
“Our annual procurement spend is in the region of £70 million and includes a diverse range of services, supplies, and works. The new role of Procurement Manager will lead on procurement reporting, assurance, policy, process and best practice guidance, in addition to any major capital procurement projects. It will also involve management of Insurance Services supported by a dedicated Insurance Officer”.
The successful candidate “will have a confident background in procurement which stretches from Purchase-to-Pay, to Category Management, with evident communication and leadership skills”.
