With the summer now really over, and audit season in full swing, there is plenty of correspondence on the Financial Reporting and Pensions discussion boards. If you want to be part of the conversations about discount rates, post-balance sheet events (or not) and OfS finance returns, as a contributor or as a voyeur, you are always welcome. It’s one of the many benefits of BUFDG membership along with the regional meetings and annual conference. If you haven’t put the 2020 annual conference in your diary, rule through 1st to the 3rd April and head for the University of Salford, Manchester. We are parting with tradition and holding the conference from Wednesday evening to Friday lunchtime, rather than the usual Sunday-Tuesday. Matt is very grateful for all the feedback on what members want from the conference programme and we are working hard to make sure we give you what you want. If you are a potential sponsor delegate and have not yet received details of the conference opportunities, please let Matt know as soon as possible.
