A very warm welcome to BUFDG 2021.
For 2021 our annual conference is going online over five days in the middle of March. It will be a different experience to the usual event. We're aiming to keep the best things about the traditional conferences for 2021, while also making the most of what an online event allows - namely a bigger event, with more sessions and attendees. This means more value for you and your team, at a lower cost.
For the 2021 conference we’ll be broadening the attendees from just Finance Directors, to include immediate reports - think Deputies and ‘Heads of’ Finance, Tax, Procurement, Payroll, Financial Reporting, and others. To facilitate this, the cost of the conference will be on an institutional, rather than individual basis, in the form of new ‘group’ tickets. This provides an affordable way for up to 20 senior staff from institutions to attend across the whole week, from as little as £55 per delegate. We don’t expect anyone to be there for every session – it will be a case of ‘build your own’ conference, so staff can attend the sessions of most value to them. With a week’s worth of sessions to choose from, we’re confident that every senior finance person at every institution will be able to find something of benefit.
Institutions who rolled forward their 2020 booking with us should have received a discount code to the value of last year’s ticket, to be applied against this year’s booking. If you rolled-forward your ticket from last year, but have not received a discount code, please email Gill.
On booking a group ticket, you do not need to provide the name of all attendees there and then. We know that teams and priorities can change, so we’ll contact you nearer the time of the conference to confirm the names and details of all attendees from your institution.
