Jisc are pleased to announce the launch of the new Electronic Research and Laboratory Notebook DPS. This DPS is an easy, fast, and compliant route to acquiring an electronic research and laboratory notebook (ERN) that suits customer organisation’s needs.   

The electronic research and laboratory notebook is a dynamic purchasing system (DPS) can help you purchase electronic research and laboratory notebook (ERN) products from approved suppliers. ERNs are digital tools designed to replace traditional paper lab notebooks.

The service supports the procurement of technically sound ERNs which offer several advantages, including:

  1. Centralised data storage for ease of access and management.
  2. Automation of data entry and acquisition processes, reducing manual effort and errors.
  3. Enhanced security features to protect sensitive research data.
  4. Integration with other laboratory instruments and software, streamlining workflows.
