Transforming Public Procurement: Communities of Practice

03 March 2026      Ashley Shelbrooke, Procurement Specialist

The Transforming Public Procurement (TPP) Community of Practice (CoP) continues to support practitioners until the end of the programme on 31 March 2026. There are now over 13,100 learners enrolled in the community and over 50,000 people have attended the free online meet-ups, at which aspects of the Procurement Act are explored and discussed. These meet-ups will continue for the duration of the programme, and a number are currently available for booking here on Eventbrite.

The CoP section on the Government Commercial College also provides a valuable library of resources that can support you as you implement the new legislation.

Future developments

The Cabinet Office are pleased to announce that the TPP Community of Practice will transition into a permanent Public Procurement Community. The team are moving beyond project-based support to a core capability learning and development intervention. Full details of the new community will be shared at the upcoming Community of Practice meet up on 18 March 2026.
