We’ve just finished the new model financial statements, produced by BUFDG for BUFDG members to help implement FRS102 and the new SORP. The statements can be downloaded from the resources section of the BUFDG website.
The document sets out a proforma group and University set of financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 and the 2015 SORP. They don’t form part of FRS 102 or the SORP and therefore are intended as guidance only. They have not been considered or approved by the SORP Board and we expect them to be updated from time to time by the BUFDG Financial Reporting Group. It is for each institution to exercise its own professional judgement and take responsibility for applying FRS102 and the new SORP.
