BUFDG Employment Status Tool For Tax - update

The BUFDG Employment Status Tool (BEST) has been updated to reflect member feedback and some formatting issues. Please make use of BEST to complement your existing Employment Status checks for tax purposes, including the HE Common Roles document and HMRC's Check Employment Status for Tax tool (CEST).
NB: BEST is available for our members to check the employment status of sole traders and individuals through their own companies for tax purposes only. It is not appropriate to use to establish whether an individual should receive employment rights; there are separate tests for employment law purposes.
