Missed the IiP workshop at this weeks conference?  Phil McNaull gave an inspiring overview of the work they have undertaken at Edinburgh that culminated in a Silver Award for the Finance Team at its first assessment.  The slides will be availble on the Conference Page later this week and give an overview of their Finance Transformation Project.  They explain the benefits of using a benchmark structure to gauge progress in developing team effectiveness, strategic awareness, leadership and staff commitment.  Underpinning much of their success was the relentless focus on people, communication, project management and performance standards.

On a related note, Leeds Beckett are running a one day event on Customer Service and their experience in achieving IiP Gold for the whole instituiton.  The event will take place on 10th June 2015 at the Rose Bowl, Leeds Beckett University at a cost of £120 per delegate.  Further details can be found here or by emailing cse@leedsbeckett.ac.uk
