Mercer has provided an updated version of the H E Pension Schemes Funding and Accounting summary table. The table summarises areas such as eligibility, benefits, contributions, accounting and governance etc. so you can clearly see the differences between the various schemes.

As well as this useful summary table from Mercer, you may also find the Pensions 'Control' summary table from Isio useful. This table highlights how much control a higher education provider (HEP) has over different aspects within each pension scheme, by using a red (no control), amber (limited degree of influence), or green (within employer control) rating for each aspect, such as benefit design, member contributions, employer contributions, investment strategy etc.
