HEPA appoints new Deputy Chair

We are delighted to announce that Amy Noble, Director of Procurement at the University of Liverpool, has been appointed as the new Deputy Chair of HEPA; Amy succeeds Veronica Daly, Chief Procurement and Contracts Officer at King’s College London, in the role.

Amy is an experienced procurement professional, currently serving as the Director of Procurement at the University of Liverpool. She excels in driving cultural and systems change, strategic improvements, and sustainable procurement strategies. In this role, she leads University-wide procurement efforts, ensuring consistent and sustainable approaches, focusing on stakeholder understanding, and streamlining procurement through effective contract activities across all devolved areas.

Previously, Amy was the Associate Director of Procurement and Contracts at Liverpool Women’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she fostered team ambitions and promoted innovation. Known for her adaptability and strategic vision, Amy has a proven track record of overcoming challenges and adding value through efficient contract management and stakeholder engagement. She has successfully led cost-saving initiatives and mergers, showcasing exceptional leadership in both public and private sectors. Her commitment to excellence, sustainability, and continuous process improvement highlights her as a dynamic leader in procurement. Passionate about advancing the procurement profession, Amy is dedicated to driving it forward through innovation and excellence. She believes in the power of procurement to not only add value to organisations but also to create positive impacts for all stakeholders involved.”
