BUFDG are delighted to host Vialto for three Time to Talk sessions on global mobility taxes in the USA.
The aim of this session is to provide Higher Education GM, HR, tax and payroll specialists an overview of US Federal tax considerations in the context of having academia working in the US. The aim being to provide a better understanding of the trigger points for tax in the context of their globally mobile US touching individuals. We will also provide information on their associated employer payroll withholding obligations as well as employer and individual tax reporting and filing requirements. The course will also touch briefly on social security and immigration.
The last fifteen minutes of the session will be for Q&A.
The second and third sessions will concentrate on specific US states, based on a survey of members (conducted in this first session).
