Tuesday 21 November
10am - 11am
We often receive questions from members around, for example, the employment status of international fellows attending a UK university, or whether a visa is correct if someone was originally not supposed to be a UK employee but now has one due to employment status issues.
These are what we describe as ‘outside the norms’ of the majority of scenarios universities will predominantly handle. But they are scenarios that take a significant amount of time to clarify.
Join us for an informal discussion on the tax, social security, immigration and employment law considerations for those individuals coming to the UK who are ‘outside the norms’.
We will be joined by KPMG experts who will gain information from universities around these ‘outside the norms’ scenarios with a view to potentially (at some point in the future) putting together guidance principles on behalf of BUFDG.
This event will not be recorded.
