BUFDG commissioned Vialto to prepare a paper on the international tax/social security considerations of continuining to provide a UK pension (USS) to employees who are temporarily working overseas. That paper reviewed 10 countries, which BUFDG met the cost of directly and will continue to meet the cost of maintenance in the future.
Vialto will join a roundtable discussion designed to talk about other countries that BUFDG members might like to commission from Vialto directly. Vialto have confirmed that the costs can be shared between universities rather than paid for separately (at a higher cost) by each university.
Vialto are already working with a number of universities who are looking at other countries and this is your opportunity to join that group and hopefully reduce costs where other universities are interested in the same countries as you.
