Blackbullion is the financial wellbeing platform and app equipping students with
money skills and confidence. The platform also houses the UK’s largest hub of
student support funds, scholarships and grants, and the leading tool for staff to
manage and deliver university funds.
We partner with over 75 universities, colleges and businesses across the UK,
Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa to proactively support student
financial wellbeing and optimise funds management processes and distribution,
while saving staff time.
We support more than 225,000 students and over £20 million has been awarded to
students through our platform to date.
We are also working to transform the scholarships culture in the UK to put more
money in students’ pockets. We have sourced over £1 million in scholarships from
our corporate partners to date and run National Scholarships Week, supported by
the Office for Students and Nationwide.

What we do:

Financial education - award-winning online financial education that
demystifies the world of finance and equips students with essential money
skills and confidence for life.
Funding Hub (the UK’s largest hub of support funds, scholarships and
grants for students) - provides students with one place to search and apply
for tens of millions of pounds worth of supplementary funds from
universities, other organisations and our corporate partners, many of whom
offer employment opportunities alongside scholarships.
Funds Management System (FMS) - as the leading tool for staff to manage
and deliver university funds, the FMS has revolutionised the funds
application, management and distribution process in the UK by providing
powerful automation tools that save staff significant time and an easier,
faster and less stressful application experience for students.
Instant Payments - staff using the FMS have the option to use our Instant
Payments feature to deliver secure payments to students in seconds - saving
time, reducing staff workload, minimising human error and easing stress for
students, without compromising on security or privacy.
Money Manager app - the first personal finance app designed for student
life, our Money Manager app helps students manage their money with
confidence by supporting them with budgeting and providing spending
insights - giving them peace of mind and more control over their finances.
Additional value - we provide our university partners with sustainable
marketing assets and campaigns to engage students with their financial
wellbeing, as well as CPD-accredited training for staff and regular
competitions and giveaways for students.
