BUFDG is pleased to work with many suppliers of services to Finance and Procurement teams in Higher Education providers. We call these suppliers “supporters”.
We don’t sell space on our website or offer corporate membership, but we often work with supporters to undertake research projects, produce reports, and publicise their events.
If you would like to offer BUFDG members some expertise or insight, then contact us to add a page to the directory below. Members can use the sections below to navigate by business area or, alternatively, scroll down for the full A-Z list of participating supporters.
The directory helps members to find suppliers of many essential financial and professional services, a link to their website and quick access to useful information, resources, and contact details.
If you would like to propose an idea for a session, please have a think about the title, the topic you'd like to cover, the presenters involved, and the audience (it might not be CFOs...), and then complete this form. We will then respond if a suitable opportunity becomes available.
Please read the sections below if you'd like to find out more. If you have any questions about these pages, please get in touch with Matt.
We work with supporters to undertake research projects, produce reports, and publicise their events.
We don’t sell space on our website, sell speaker opportunities, offer access to our mailing list, or offer corporate membership.
We are very grateful to organisations who are prepared to share their expertise and knowledge, and we can help maintain a Supporter Directory page for you. You can update this at any time by emailing ruth@phes.ac.uk.
If you'd like to be featured on this page, have an idea for a project, survey, or report on an issue you think CFOs and their teams would be interested in, please contact matt@bufdg.ac.uk. We can then find out a bit more about your organisation and decide whether it would be a good fit.
For 2024, we are particularly interested in your thoughts on:
but - we are keen to hear from you on anything else you think is relevant and topical.
We are often asked to find a time for supporters to address our members. Unless the issue is urgent and highly topical, we like to plan ahead and may invite you to speak at events, either in person or at an online Time to Talk seminar. If you would like to suggest a topic please have a think about the content, speakers, and proposed audience (it might not be CFOs), and then complete this form. We will then respond if we think there is an opportunity available.
If we can’t fit you in to our schedule, we will suggest that you host a seminar on your own platform.
We will list your event on our calendar and promote to our membership. You are free to set the date and time of the webinar but we can provide guidance on which times might be better than others. Once you have set a date, you will need to provide us - at least 5 weeks in advance of the webinar date - with:
If you are in a university and need to engage a new auditor, cash manager, investment manager, bank, lawyer, or any other finance-related supplier or adviser, the Supporter Directory is a good first port-of-call.
Please note that we work with supporting companies ('supporters') to undertake research projects, produce reports, source guidance, and facilitate training and learning opportunities, for the ultimate benefit of you, our members. We don’t sell space on our website, sell speaker opportunities, offer access to our mailing list, or otherwise accept sponsorship or offer corporate membership.
Inclusion of these organisations does not imply BUFDG endorsement, but it does indicate that they are currently working with - or have recently worked with - other Higher Education Providers, and that they would like to hear from you.
Some of the organisations are included on procurement consortia framework agreements and you can find details from your institution’s procurement manager, your procurement consortium, or Crown Commercial Services.
You may also be able to find out more about colleagues' recent experiences of working with different sector supporters on the BUFDG discussion boards.
If you have any questions about the Directory, please contact Matt.
